The Student Conservation Association (SCA) in Big Thicket National Preserve
I traveled to Big Thicket National Preserve in Texas to capture a diverse SCA crew of teens as they were undertaking critical trail restoration work. The program included training and certification in specific mechanical tools (including chainsaws), skills the crew used to work on critical restoration projects in the park.
